I bought Visual Assist X (VAX) for use w/classic ASP. I find the feature set of VS 2010 adequate w/o VAX, so I only turn it on for my classic ASP projects. So the majority of the time I am turning off VAX after the IDE loads, before loading a project - I have to do this every time. My JSLint add-on was producing a zillion messages from Crystal Report's javascript, so I just turned it off and it stays off. I can turn it on when I'm working on javascript. It would be really great if I could do this w/VAX. Love your project, but let me turn it off w/o uninstalling. Thanks. |

You can disable Visual Assist via the extension manager:
Tools -> Extension Manager... -> Visual Assist X -> Disable
You can re-enable it later. Anyway, VA was designed to be "transparent", to not get in the way. Do you want to disable Visual Assist because it was getting in the way? |
