I running a dark gray theme for my Visual C++ setup, which is fine, however it forces me to choose lighter colors for everything including VAX keywords, however the problem is my VAX side windows are still on a white background which makes them unreadable, of course I know I can turn of colors for the sidebar windows, however that sorta defeats the purpose. I purpose that VAX windows be the same color as the text editor, or configurable in some way. or just force a color scheme for those windows independent of the text editor.(that would be better than no syntax coloring.)

Unfortunately no. Drawing our colours over the top of the IDE colouring is a bit of a black art, and changing the background is a lot harder.
You can change your global windows background colour to something off white which should make your colour scheme more visible, or else we recommend turning off VA's enhanced syntax highlighting in tool windows. |
