In the redesigned Find Symbol Dialog we've lost the keyboard shortcuts
Alt+S toggle show current solution only
Alt+C toggle classes, structs only
Alt+F toggle fuzzy
as far as I can tell.
I can't find a keyboard shortcut to open the new cog menu or (better) to toggle these options directly.
Will you consider re-instating them? |

You are not the only person who is missing them. As I understand it, the idea was to make the dialog cleaner and simpler to new users, but speaking personally, I don't see how removing keyboard shortcuts helps anyone. This is something we are looking to fix, hopefully soon:

For keyboard access, after you open the Find Symbol dialog, use Tab once, and keyboard focus moves to the settings icon. Its subtle, and easy to miss, but you should see the highlighting. Now press Space to open the menu of settings. You can now use Enter to toggle one setting.
Honestly not keyboard friendly, but it can be done. |

Ah that does help, thanks - but yeah an accelerator of some kind would be nice.

| I can understand what drove the change, but to my mind we do need an option to make the settings changeable from the keyboard, and more visible. |
