When skipping through errors using the (shift)-F4 key, the status bar should show the current error message. However, VA X then sometimes does some mysterious idle processing, causing the IDE to overwrite the error message with "Ready".

So to be clear, I'm talking about the status bar, not the build output window (I have that one closed usually).

VS2005 does not exhibit this behavior when VA X is not installed. This bug drives me completely nuts.

If you wouldn't mind, do you have a step by step procedure to reproduce this problem? I'm been working on it and I can't seem to make it happen. Perhaps you may have a solution as well that you can share where it's easily produced.

Thanks,
Darren
