Hello, colleagues!
I have 2 versions of Visual Studio installed on my PC. There are VS.NET 2002 and VS 2005 Team Suite Beta2.
On VS 2002 was installed Visual Assist X (build 10.0.1230). Now I want to have Assist also on VS 2005. Then I installed the Assist again. But it was embedded in VS 2002 anew, while VS 2005 does not have Assist as yet.
How can I force Visual Assist working on both of installed Visual Studios?
Excuse me for my bad english! :)

VS 2005 support requires VA X 1418 or newer I think.

svschfer is right, you need VA 1418 or newer to use it in VS2005. you will need to renew your subscription to use the 14xx versions, but you can try the latest version as a trial to check out the new features.

Wait a minute. This does not answer the question!

The question is : How can I get Visual Assist to work PROPERLY on 2 installed IDEs? If it is possible at all. I have 2003 and 2005 side-by-side, but there is a single VAssist folder - and on 2005 it does not work properly! >:|

VisualAssist 1418 or newer will integrate with VS .NET 2003 or VS2005 or with both, VS .NET 2003 and VS2005, if these versions of Visual Studio are installed side-by-side. Earlier versions of VA will only integrate with VS .NET 2003.

However, if VA was installed and integrated with VS .NET 2003 on your system before VS2005 was installed, you may need to reinstall VisualAssist to make integration with both version of VS work. For me VA appeared in VS2005 but I was unable to properly configure the Include directories ect. A reinstall (or installation of the latest build of VA) fixed this problem.

svschfer is right.

i have VA working on 3 IDE's, VC6, VS2003 and VS2005 all on the same machine with a single install. but you do need a recent version of VA for it to work correctly in VS2005.
