Hi together,

after installing intel fortran compiler V9 (with Intel Fortran Compiler Integration for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET) VAX - syntax coloring for C++ files doesn't work in editor windows. It works fine in VAView, suggestions boxes and so on.

Any suggestions ?

Ronald Gerstmann

system:
Win2000SP4
VisualStudio.Net 2003
Intel(R) Fortran Compiler Integration
Visual Assist X Version 1418
Project Line Counter

i have just installed the Intel Fortran Compiler 9 on a win2k machine, and syntax highlighting is fine in C++ using VS 2003 and VA 1418.

can you try

IDE tools menu -> options -> fonts and colors -> use defaults button

and see if this makes and difference.

Hi feline,

thanks for your reply. Setting back to default colors only makes no difference.
But after:
- uninstalling the intel compiler integration (VAX syntax coloring doesn't work)
- setting default colors (now VAX syntax coloring works)
- reinstalling the intel compiler integration
it works fine.
