I've seen some mention of this bug going back to February 2005, and mention that it was going to be fixed. But in the version 10.1.1418.0 (built 24th July 05) - which I think is the most recent version - it is still very much present.
Open a CSS document and try and add width or padding-left or margin-left or a many other CSS attributes and you will have the word "auto" inserted to start with and then every time you press the space bar. E.g. width:auto auto10px;
If you disable VAX then the VS.NET intellisense box will appear and show only one value, auto, which I guess is where it is coming from. Is there any way to prevent VAX from automatically inserting this text without me actually choosing it from the list? It makes it totally useless for CSS, not that I need it for that, but it is a pain every time I forget to disable it.

using VA 1418 i am only getting this problem if i open a css file. if the file is opened by the workspace then the problem does not occur. it is not a brilliant work around, but if you can close and reload the workspace so that the file is present when the workspace loads the problem should go away.
