In VS2019, navigating in a VA suggestion list with UP / DOWN keys also moves the caret in the code window.
When accepting with ENTER, the suggestion will then be inserted at the caret position, which then often is positioned on a different line.

This makes VA in combination with VS2019 totally unusable for me.
When disabling VA, I can use the standard VS Intellisense suggestion lists without any problem.
I face this problem only in VS2019, not in VS2017.

Updating to the latest version should also help.

Disabling the Incredibuild extension did indeed solve the issue.

Thanks for your help.

I think it might be connected with your Incredibuild version. You can learn more about this issue and the solution here:
