Every time I hit the 'D' key Visual Studio maximizes and redraws.

This is recent. Could be a configuration problem. I disabled the VAX plugin and it works fine. Tried to reset the keyboard shortcuts in the VS settings.

I do have a pretty crazy custom configuration. I use most of the StarDock products for example but nothing else seems to be affected by the D key. And of course it works properly when VAX is disabled.

Ivan is right, I recognise this description, this is almost certainly related to Window Blinds. If you can exclude the IDE, devenv.exe, from being skinned then this should fix the problem without having to uninstall Window Blinds.

Thanks, yes, I do have Window Blinds running. I'll do some testing.

I had the same issue when I had Window Blinds installed. The issue is not reproduced without it.
