When you do search in files in Visual Studio, you can choose to let VS put the results in "Find Results 1" or "Find Results 2" panel, I think such idea can be borrowed in VA, and it would be useful when you want to do some kind of "cross reference" search.

What do you think?

This thread has instructions on how you can change this behaviour, so that the cloned window appears as a floating, rather than a docked window:

FYI - cloned results used to open in separate, floating panes once upon a time... It was a sad day when they started opening as docked results.

Are you aware that you can clone the Find References Results window? This allows you to have several results windows open at once, since you can clone the main results window more than once.
