Using 10.6.1822 on VS2010.
In this code snippet:

struct Test
{
int someint;
int someotherint;
};

#define MACRO_TEST(a) \ someint = a; \ someotherint = a;

#define MACRO_TEST2(b) \ someint = a;

void main()
{
Test t;
t.someint = 10;
}

Find References and Rename both include the variables used in macros in their list when searching for a respective struct member variable. Is this by design?

There is a change request to use question mark icon for references in defines and to not tick these references by default in rename dialog:

case=9860
