Posted - Aug 31 2016 : 06:16:34 AM I am using Visual Assist for last couple of months. Alt+G is very useful and fast in finding definition of anything under cursor.
But I am not able to figure out how to Go to definition by manually putting the function-name or class-name as text input (as we do while searching using Ctrl+Shift+F or Ctrl+,).
What I am doing right now is using Ctrl+Shift+F and trying to look for definition from the long list of string search result. :(

Posted - Aug 31 2016 : 1:50:18 PM I think that what you're searching for is the Find Symbol Dialog (alt+shift+S): http://docs.wholetomato.com/default.asp?W194#controlling
If you type .symbolname. to the filter editbox, it will only match whole words. In other words, showing the symbol itself, including all duplicates with this name. |
