Repros in VS2012 with build 10.7.1912.0, doesn't repro in VS2010 with build 10.7.1908.0.
1. Type #include and then two quotes in rapid succession.
VS hangs for about a minute, then hundreds of quotes get inserted.
I've tried avoiding my muscle memory of inserting two quotes in rapid succession after #include, but so far its not working :(, hopefully this can get fixed soon!

Can you please go to:
VA Options -> System Info -> Copy Info
and paste the details (from the clipboard) into your reply. This will give us the basic information about your setup.
Can you please try upgrading to VA 1916, to see if this makes any difference, this has just been released today:

So far I cannot reproduce the problem here. It sounds like it is partly related to the size of the listbox that appears.
Are you aware of VA Snippets? When you type #in you get a listbox allowing you to accept / insert #include "", so long as you have:
VA Options -> Advanced -> Suggestions -> Include VA Snippets in listboxes
turned On. This might help bypass the problem. |

I wasn't able to reproduce the problem here, using VS2010 and VA1916.

If you are still seeing the same problem, can you please save out a minidump and send it in? Problems, based on typing speed are not always trivial to reproduce, but since this is a hang, a minidump can be a good first step. More on minidumps:
