Posted - May 20 2009 : 11:20:01 AM I love how the VA Find Reference Results window marks assignments with an icon, versus the object just being referenced. However, sometimes when there are a ton of references, it's hard to easily find the assignment references. If we could add a button/hotkey/option to sort the references by "type", instead of the current by location in the value, that would be invaluable.

VA Options -> Advanced -> Refactoring -> Highlight references using <colour> and <colour>
you can set a different colour for assignment references to normal references, which will help you pick them out in the list. You can also find inside the Find References Results list. Use CTRL-F or the Find button on the toolbar in the results window, so you could search for "=".
