Posted - Oct 03 2006 : 03:22:22 AM Currently, I use VS2003 for three purposes - Win32 testing, Symbian development and custom-hardware GSMs development. All of the choices require a different set of includes, so I use /rootsuffix commandline switch to have a separate configuration for each target.
I think it would be good for VA to respect that setting, meaning, it might append optional rootsuffix value to symbols dir and registry settings paths.

VA Options -> Projects -> C/C++ Directories
in VA that you need to change for each platform? i would expect that most of the other VA settings would be the same for all platforms.
if it is just these, do you have the platform set to "Win32" or "Custom"? when it is set to "Win32" it picks up the settings from the IDE its self, so i would expect it to simply pick up the correct set of directories.
are you passing this parameter via a custom shortcut? if so, as a temporary workaround have you considered using a batch file instead to import the correct set of registry keys for VA? |
