I have a custom class (CxOpenFileName) with a method GetOpenFileName

Having:

CxOpenFileName ofn;
ofn.

VA dutifully pops up, I select GetOpenFileName and WHAM! I get the parameter dialog intended for OPENFILENAME/ ::GetOpenFileName.

Could that be supressed e.g. when it's preceeded by dot or -> ?

(I like the feature as such, but not for MY GetOpenFileName)

[edit] I just saw that I can remove the AutoText entry. that's kinda ok[/edit]

i do not understand what you are getting at.

the first part of your post sounds like you are getting the parameter list tooltip for the wrong function, which is a bug. however parameter list tooltips do not have anything to do with autotext, at least not on my machine.
