Posted - Nov 22 2004 : 11:26:57 AM I think its always great to be able to see the line number you are on. It would be cool if that could be done along the left hand side...and if it could be turned on or off at will.
( an option? )
hehehehe

Posted - May 16 2006 : 11:29:32 PM hi, I just coded an addin for VC6 to show linenumbers just like VS2003, you can download it from here: http://davidhowecn.googlepages.com/VC6LineNumberAddin.dll or see the website: http://davidhowecn.googlepages.com/vc6linenumberaddin And, coz I am Chinese, I only show Chinese chars in this beta version... you can try. |

Posted - Nov 24 2004 : 07:54:35 AM Well, I'm still waiting for the "Enhanced Syntax Coloring while copying/printing" in VS .NET... VAX does that in VS 6, but not in VS .NET! |

Posted - Nov 24 2004 : 07:44:47 AM For some reason i fill quite the opposite... For me - main goal of VA is to make coding more convenient and more uniform through IDEs. That means adding features where they don't exist. I understand that MS would not support/upgrade old IDE because they are pushing new one out, but VA seem to be concerned about all developers, even those of us who are for some reason stuck with VS.6 |

Posted - Nov 23 2004 : 02:12:43 AM I doubt that WT is gonna add a feature for a 6-year old IDE only...
If WT is goin' to add features, it will be for ALL IDE's, or for the newer IDE's (like the .NET bunch), but not for 6.0 only... |

Posted - Nov 22 2004 : 12:35:35 PM It's already an option in VS. At least, in VS.NET — I don't know one way or the other in VS6. |
