VA Outline is great to get an overview of a file, but it would be really nice if there was a simple filter by text so in files with hundreds of functions one could filter functions containing certain text for ex.
I know this can be done in other places, but VA Outline is lacking this functionalityi |

What problem are you trying to solve with this?
As soon as we filter the outline, hiding, one assumes, most of the entries, then it is no longer showing you an outline of the current file.
If you want an easily referenced list of all of the members of one class, that contain the word "output" for example, you can use the Find Symbol dialog, and filter it with:
ClassName output
note the space between the two search terms, telling VA that they are separate search terms. |
