Posted - Jul 21 2023 : 11:37:07 AM I've just noticed an excellent feature I've never noticed before. In the VA Find References Result screen, if you hover over a line that was in a previous list of find results, it now shows in the tooltip popup the current content and line number.
That is such a great feature! Thank you!
Here's a sample of what it shows now. Previously on line 142, but after some editing it's now on line 146:
Excellent work.

Posted - Jul 24 2023 : 10:50:10 AM We do try to monitor file edits, so we can still jump to the correct line from the Find References Results window even after you have edited. You can also use the Refresh button on the Find References Results toolbar button if needed, to update the results list without loosing it. |

Posted - Jul 24 2023 : 08:35:22 AM What impressed me the most was when I originally did my search it found that reference on line 142. After various editing, the list was still there showing line 142, but when I hovered it brought up what was there now, and it was on line 146. That type of contextual presentation is exactly as it should be, but not something you often see in search results.
Very nice.
