I like how Visual Studio tells you whether a collapsed preprocessor block is active or inactive:
However, what I would like even more is to be able to collapse all inactive preprocessor blocks. I have not been able to find an extension to accomplish this, even though a quick Google search shows that there are other people who would like to have this functionality as well (for example, https://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio-2015/suggestions/4197018-option-to-automatically-collapse-all-inactive-prep).
