Posted - May 31 2016 : 3:09:05 PM It would be very nice if Visual Assist X would automatically update the license expiration date when trying to download a new version, or perhaps with a button in the Options dialog.
I work for a company that buys a bunch of license keys for VA-X. We renew every time the license comes up for renewal, but the problem is the license expiration date.
When we update to a newer VA-X, we have to put in an IT support ticket to have them type in the new version of the license. If VA-X had a way for us programmers to press a button in the Options dialog to get the newest version of the expiration date for our license, or some similar feature, it would save us a lot of time.
Thanks,

Posted - May 31 2016 : 11:02:31 PM Currently the VA licences are entered, and checked, on a per machine basis, but we are considering adding a license server option, which would clearly be helpful here:
case=4107
For now, if you can get the IT department to push out a .reg file with the new license key when a new key is purchased, then VA will pick this up. This is explained here, in the Automated installation documentation:
