Would it be possible to add the ability in the Find Symbol function to allow for the symbol to be searched only in the current project instead of the entire solution? |

This is an interesting idea, but I am not sure how we would be able to determine the "current" project in the Find Symbol dialog. You can open the Find Symbol dialog without having any files open in the IDE.
We are considering adding more information to the Find Symbol dialog, so I have added a request to the case to add the project a symbol comes from to the dialog, which should help here:
