If a particular function overrides a parent class'es virtual function, could this function be marked in some way? Bold, italix, anthing.
It would be freaking awesome. .Net has the override keyword, which is a great idea, but we gotta use C++. Qt designer does it as well, but who wants to leave VS? |

If they are marked as virtual, then VA will show this in the function tooltip in the Hovering Class Browser:
http://www.wholetomato.com/products/features/hcb.asp
this won't pick out the virtual functions for you, but it will allow you to easily see which functions of a given class are marked virtual. This should also be listed in the tooltip when selecting an item in a member listbox, when calling class functions in your code.
Not as easy as you are hoping for, but is this a useful starting point? |
