I was working on VS, and then another user logged on (I am still logged in). When I login back (Switch User), and see Visual Studio showing this dialog box.
Why?
There is no LAN, no remote login! |

Posted - Apr 11 2012 : 12:33:00 PM This should not have anything to do with running out of resorces, it sounds like a problem with detecting remote desktop, somehow. Hopefully just a one off oddity. |

Posted - Apr 10 2012 : 10:47:43 PM Even I am unable to reproduce the problem again. The another user is my bro, and I am sure he didn't launch any of Visual Studio! That user is not an Admin. My system has 8GB RAM, good graphics card, so system 'low' in something cannot be a problem. |

Posted - Apr 10 2012 : 7:00:50 PM Still no sign of this problem, testing with VS2008 and the same build of VA. This message normally only shows once, so hopefully you won't have this problem again.
If you do, any details you can provide to help me work out what the trigger might be would be appreciated. |

I will try to reproduce the problem and let you know exact scenario. |

Posted - Apr 09 2012 : 11:12:07 PM So far I have been unable to reproduce this problem here, using Windows 7 64bit.
Which IDE and version of VA are you using? |

Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, SP1.
The second user logged in via switch user. |

Posted - Apr 06 2012 : 12:06:28 PM This dialog is only supposed to appear the first time you run Visual Assist under remote desktop, so obviously VA thought you were running under remote desktop. Which OS are you using, and is this 32bit or 64bit?
Now did the second user log on? Via switch user? Or some other method? |
