Hi,

Does Visual Assist support to auto increase the build number? I find a solution at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/356543/can-i-automatically-increment-the-file-build-version-when-using-visual-studio but this only works with C# project, not Visual C++ project.

I am using Visual C++ 2008.

I'm afraid this is not something Visual Assist does.

Jut a thought, but if your build number is defined in one of your project files, you could have a script that finds and updates this number by editing the file for you. Then either run this as part of the build process, or run it manually when you want to update this number.
