i honestly never noticed, good catch

i only ever use F12 and F11. the items are only on the menu since it was the fastest and easiest way to add these hotkeys to the program

feline,

You can also use
m_menuContext->instertItem("&Restore position\t(F12)", this, SLOT(slotSetPosition()) );
to outline "(F12)" on the right side of the menu.

With kind regards,

... but don't use the parentheses around F12 - that's not standard:

m_menuContext->instertItem("&Restore position\tF12", this, SLOT(slotSetPosition()) );

*goes wandering through the code the screen shot came from*
this program could probably do with some cleaning up one of these days

the tab separation is obvious now someone points it out, and also does away with the need for the brackets to highlight the shortcut keys. definitely something worth remembering
